Arriving into Bern's very modern-looking rail station, we have also arrived into the "capital" of Switzerland. I put capital in quotes because officially (de jure), Switzerland has no capital. However, Bern is the de facto capital, being home of the Federal Palace, seat of the Swiss parliament and the executive Federal Council (Switzerland has a seven-member co-president type deal going on) However, the federal courts are in other cities, making the situation more akin to South Africa's multiple capitals. That said, ZA legally has multiple capitals. Switzerland legally has zero capitals.
