One especially interesting example was the Munich Residenz, which was damaged in the war. The Throne Room was restored not to its original style and design, but instead as the "Hercules Hall," in the neo-classical style popular with the Third Reich. The Reichsbank building, which had been a work-in-progress under the Third Reich, resumed construction and was completed according to the original Nazi plans.
