Indeed, the Nazi Party headquarters were located just adjacent to Königplatz, in what was called the Brown House. The Brown House was destroyed in October 1943 by Allied bombs. The very modern-looking NS-Dokumentationszentrum (Nazi Documentation Center museum), on the right, now stands where the Brown House once did. The building on the left however is a surviving Nazi building, the Führerbau (Führer Building).
