The addition of the sidecar significantly changes the balance of the motorcycle, because it is now asymmetrical. So this makes handling the rig much more challenging than a normal bike. It takes a lot of skill to maneuver. But even beyond that, a motorcycle-with-sidecar is nigh-unrideabale without a passenger sitting in the sidecar. So it is actually a team sport where the driver and passenger have to work together to properly distribute their weight in the ideal way to make the rig maneuver as fast as possible.
