There are some other Important Wittelsbachs down here, but nobody cares about them. Steves points out that this guy (Wilhelm V) built the church we're standing in. There's the tomb of King Otto, who suffered from mental illness and never actually ruled. A regent, who ultimately succeeded him as king, ruled in his place. Steves claims that Maximilian I basically saved Munich by defeating the invading Swedes. But Wikipedia says the Swedes successfully invaded and occupied Munich in 1632, during Max I's reign. Hmmmm...
