Oh my. A skeleton. This is indeed a full-body relic of one St. Munditia, who was beheaded (4th century) by the Romans because she was Christian (I guess they reattached her head). Munich is number two in the world for number of relics (after Rome). As the Protestant Disease increasingly spread throughout northern Europe, Munich became the pope's regional fortress. Indeed, Pope Clement X gave St. Munditia to Munich to thank the city for its Catholic loyalty.
