When I found an amazing flight deal to India - $550 airfare nonstop to Delhi - I really had no choice but to go. I hadn't taken two international trips in one year since 2009 (Italy and Peru; our trip to Guatemala was technically in 2016, but was intended as our 2015 trip despite the month's delay). Since my visit to India was essentially a bonus trip (or was it really just making up for no travel in 2020 or 2021?), it was short: just over a week. This guided tour covered only India's so-called "Golden Triangle:" Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, and included the bucket-list Taj Mahal and Hawa Mahal. I was anxious about travel to India due to its reputation as being an especially "difficult" travel destination, but it exceeded my expectations on that front. Before my trip, I wasn't expecting to return to India but having now been, I would absolutely go again.
