It was time to wrap up our time at the Humayun's Tomb complex. We headed back to the car. Just across the street is Sabz Burj. Constructed in the 1530s, it is among the earliest Mughal-era buildings and features rare patterns inspired by Timurid architecture from Central Asia. Like so much of what we saw in Humayun's complex, the identity of who is buried here is... not known.
