Tap water is not safe to drink in India. I was always hesitant to drink any water not from a sealed bottle, but when I saw the hotel had water dispensers with clearly labeled signage "Reverse Osmosis Filtered Water," I decided to trust them. I never had any stomach problems on this trip, so I think they were telling the truth!
