Maidens Hotel was a really nice way to acclimate to a country I was nervous about visiting, but it was not at all indicative of the type of experience I was going to have for the rest of the trip. The accommodations chosen by the tour company were perfectly satisfactory, but simple. (Luckily despite this printed warning, each morning in Delhi somebody else must have already called downstairs because I had hot water each time I used the shower.)
