The next morning we flew via TAP Portugal to Lisbon on a flight comparable in price to Ryanair. Even though it was only a two hour flight, they provided a meal - this was no budget airline. We took the "Aerobus" from the airport directly to Rossio Square, where we were staying. Apparently, later that year, a subway extension to the airport opened. However, we found the Aerobus to be quite convenient as well.
