The guy even said normally he would give a Tesla but he was out of Teslas. I knew there was a Tesla Supercharger (basically like a Tesla "gas station") near where we were staying in Idaho. But non-Teslas can't use those. And non-Tesla chargers are much much slower than the Tesla chargers. If the car was going to take hours to charge and there was no charger within walking distance to our hotel, how exactly were we going to charge it? Just sit in the car for five hours?
