The primary motivation for this trip was to explore Idaho, as part of my quest to fifty states, bringing my count to 47. We combined Idaho with the country's most scenic train ride - the California Zephyr - which links Denver and Salt Lake City. From SLC, we rented a car to explore Idaho's Magic Valley.
