The nice thing about arriving at our campsite early was that the campsite itself had great views of the Blyde River Canyon and this gave us time to explore them. (Under the plan I mentioned earlier of touring the canyon today instead of tomorrow, we could have departed the campsite later tomorrow to have had time to explore it in the morning.)
