The ticket machines even seemed to give the option of letting you buy multiple cards at once, so 2x 50 lira = 100 lira. But they wouldn't actually let you do it. You had to have two 50 lira notes to do this. So we had to try ATM after ATM until we finally found one that would dispense 50 lira notes.
