The other reforms became permanent too. Until FDR signed the Fair Labor Standards Act in 1938, there was no legal minimum wage. FLSA provisions are still important and hotly debated in HR offices to this day. For example, the requirement to pay overtime wages to workers once they pass 40 hours in a week is thanks to the FLSA. It's impressive how long lasting FDR's legacy has been.
