The house we were touring is the Ansley Wilcox House. These days it is also the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site, because it is where TR was inaugurated following McKinley's death. He stayed in this house, which belonged to Teddy's friend Ansley Wilcox. It was in this very library that he took the inaugural oath.
