I mean I was trying to not necessarily be the next Roger Woodward, but perhaps the next Annie Edson Taylor, the first recorded person to survive going over the falls. She was a schoolteacher and went over the falls in a barrel. Why did she do this? She was poor and thought she could monetize this stunt. She did briefly make some money on a speaking tour, but when she intended to write a memoir, her manager stole her famous Barrel and she had to spend most of her money on a PI to recover the barrel. She died penniless.
