It's a bit hard to keep the chronology straight in this museum, as events from all across the timeline are presented in haphazard fashion. Here you can see a discussion of the Norge, an airship of the dirigible type (like the Hindenburg), which Amundsen took to the North Pole in 1926. That was the first ever trip of any kind by humans to the North Pole.
