That feature is the smooth wavy sandstone patterns of the renowned "The Wave" in Northern Arizona's Vermilion Cliffs. Unfortunately, only 10 people are allowed to hike to "The Wave" per day, and there is a lottery system to determine who they are. I have never won this lottery, despite three separate attempts.
