Apparently, the FancyCruisers had made it all the way to Luxor on their boat, and their cruise had included "shore excursions" at Kom Ombo and Edfu, much like a normal FancyCruise. Our slow sailboat didn't even make it as far as Kom Ombo, so we were now going by bus to Kom Ombo, then on to Edfu, and finally to meet up with the Fancies in Luxor.
