The Museum itself does not allow photos inside, so I will describe some of what I saw using photos from the internet. By far the most famous thing in the museum is Tutankhamun's gold mask. The museum also has his throne and the death masks of various other pharaohs, such as Amenemope. Other highlights include the original capstone of the Black Pyramid (the hunk-of-rubble one I saw at Dahshur), colossal statues such as this one of Amenhotep III and his wife Tiye, and various sarcophagi
