Our next destination was the City of the Dead, a four-mile long cemetery. It's not just a cemetery but also a functioning residential neighborhood: people actually live within its boundaries. For some, it is an economic decision (the City of the Dead is a poorer part of town), but for others, they simply want to be near to their loved ones who have died.
