travel log
Faneuil Hall was originally a "town marketplace," and still serves that function having lots of shops and restaurants. It also serves as an NPS visitor center for both the "Boston National Historical Park," which is an urban park comprised of several of the sites we will see along the Freedom Trail, and the "Boston African American NHP," which as you can see on the map here has its own self-guided walking tour a la the Freedom Trail.
