The most famous of these generally-open-interiors-but-closed-at-the-time-of-my-arrival buildings is the Potwin Drug Store, which while a replica (of the 1892 Doc Warner's Drug Store) does feature the original fixtures from a 1902 Topeka drugstore. If you look on the left of this picture, however, you'll see a modern computer because if you arrive earlier in the day, this is a working soda fountain.
