It was on to DFW. I chose to fly to DFW despite the trip proper beginning in Oklahoma City, because for me a big part of the spirit of a trip like this is relying on public transportation. DFW has rail service directly to the airport terminals, and OKC airport doesn't have any kind of public transport, not even a bus. Plus flights to OKC are much more expensive than flights to a major hub like DFW.
