Behind the depot is the Mississippi car of the Merci Train. After WWII, the USA sent food and supplies to France and Italy. In response, they (technically France in terms of the logistics and the boxcars, but funded by French and Italian citizens) sent a 49-car train to the USA with one car to be sent to each state.
