The last of the three museums was the Museum of the Ancient Orient, focusing on Mesopotamia, a region mostly covered by modern Iraq and Syria. Since I've never been to either of those countries, there wasn't much overlap for me here with other things I had seen. These friezes once adorned the entrance to the city of Babylon.
