ESCEE.com - 2018 - Istanbul II: Archaeology and Cuisine - 14/33
This museum was my favorite of the three, both because of the beauty of the tiles themselves, and also because it felt the most "local," with its contents primarily sourced from what is now modern-day Turkey. Much of what we saw in the other two museums, while still impressive, was sourced from other parts of the ancient Ottoman Empire, leading to thematic overlap with museums in other countries such as Greece.
