We won't be visiting Cuzco itself just yet. Partially to help travelers' bodies acclimate to the elevation (Cuzco is at over 11k ft; Lima is basically sea level), we will spend the next few days in the slightly lower (but still much higher than Lima) Sacred Valley of the Incas.
