We started our West Coast trip in California's Bay Area. We were in town for a wedding in Marin County and flew into Oakland. We flew in Wednesday night so we would have Thursday free before wedding activities began on Friday. We stayed in Berkeley these first two nights in a converted-garage AirBNB.
