This compelling museum is fascinating for its juxtaposition of three aspects: first, you are walking through the former wards and church of an actual hospital. What is on display in the exhibits themselves is ostensibly the art of Hans Memling (hence the museum's name), but only about half of the museum is devoted to Memling. The other half showcases medieval medicine, which is extremely engaging.
