We rose early the next morning to take a train to Bruges, the first of our day-trips out of Brussels. We started our tour at the colorful Markt (market square). We would be taking Rick Steves' city walking tour from his guidebook, which would essentially chauffeur us to all of the sights we intended to see anyway.
