Returning to Rome, we took the Metro to Flaminio for some farewell-to-Rome evening sightseeing. Tomorrow morning, we'll be taking the train to Florence. This is Piazza del Popolo, made famous by which-ever Dan Brown book takes place in Rome. Despite its name sounding like it is plaza of the pope, it is actually plaza of the people.
