Here you can see the famous Rostrum, which I described earlier. It's the pockmarked brown wall at the rear of the main square, which is actually a large raised platform, like a stage, 10 feet tall and 80 feet wide. Behind the Rostrum and the Square, you can see perched the eight columns of the Temple of Saturn, which is the Forum's oldest temple (497 BC, two years before the Temple of Castor and Pollux)
