Indeed, we were able to take the Leonardo Express directly from Rome's international airport to the Termini rail station near our hotel. The ubiquitousness of this reality in Europe (although it may have been the case on my earlier trip to Eastern Europe, I wouldn't have noticed since I traveled with a tour and they handled all logistics) is a big part of what opened the door for me to independent travel.
