This beautiful Cholla garden is actually all I got to do in Joshua Tree National Park, as on my way away from the Garden to the next stop, my car broke down... I didn't even get to see any actual Joshua trees. In fact, I had no cell reception in JTNP, so I had to ride my bike from my stranded car back to the visitor's center to ask for help. The visitor's center didn't even have a landline. They actually HAM radioed AAA for me, and I waited outside the visitor center after it closed for AAA to arrive. Luckily, they did.
