Our destination was Rajawongse Clothiers, a hugely reputable tailor that counts among its clients President Obama and both President Bushes. My big souvenir of this trip was to be some bespoke suits and shirts. Some of our tourmates had visited tailors in Hoi An for similar work, but Rajawongse's reputation was paramount and I held out for Bangkok, having corresponded with the owners before the trip to ensure we would be staying in Bangkok long enough to have enough fittings done.
