Yellowstone is a huge park with five entrances. It would take at least four hours just to make a loop through the park without stopping. We opted to focus our time on the "lower loop," essentially the southern half of the park, to make the most of our time. Since the geothermal features of Yellowstone were at the top of my list, this was a wise choice.
