You may be wondering what Wall Drug is and why there would be so many billboards for a drug store, or why a drug store is a tourist attraction. It's really a misnomer rooted in the historical origins of the site. In its present form, Wall Drug is a huge complex filled with many different themed stores (only one of which sells anything akin to a drug store), restaurants, weird exhibits, zany sculptures (see the jackalope, a mythical jackrabbit with antlers), and amusement park style installations.
