We headed down to Old Town Alexandria and the excellent Restaurant Eve. On weekdays, in the bar/lounge area, they serve a "Lickity Split" menu: pick any two items (including wine, cocktails, and a variety of food and desserts) for only $15. Truly a phenomenal deal.
