We next came to Plaza Nueva, dominated on one side by the High Court of Justice and on the far end by the Church of Santa Ana. The latter, like so many that we have encountered, was originally a mosque, and the tower replaced the mosque's minaret. Moorish craftsmen actually did the ceramic brickwork for the church, under the employ of Christians.
