While there is a lot of overlap between what's here and, say, the Louvre in Paris, what makes the Prado really worth visiting is its especially impressive collection of the holy Spanish trinity: El Greco, Velázquez, and Goya. Its most famous painting is Las Meninas by Velázquez. Before being moved to the Prado, it originally hung in Charles III's antechamber at the palace.
