Another thing Segovia is famous for is its culinary delicacy, cochinillo asado (roast suckling pig). Mesón de Cándido, right at the base of the aqueduct, is the most famous place to get this dish. However, they close fairly early in the evening and eating dinner there meant we wouldn't really have time to see anything at all in Segovia. We will seek out another restaurant with longer hours to try this famous dish.
