travel log
Segovia is most famous for its aqueduct. Built during Roman times under Emperor Trajan, it's much older than almost anything else we'll see in Spain. Much of the nine-mile aqueduct was underground, but this short stretch of a water-bridge impresses. Although it no longer functions in terms of carrying water, the underground parts still remain and little plaques throughout town alert you to their presence.
