Parc Güell sits atop a hill, and offers commanding views of the city. Much of it is just pastoral park with walking trails. Gaudi's designs are really relegated to only a few spots, like this one. In fact, Gaudi intended for Park Güell to be a high-income housing development, but that idea never took off, so it's just a park. We're all happy his idea failed, so that we can wander through it freely.
