Actually, first, we headed to a grocery store to pick up some provisions. Why? Well, our hotel was really more of a hostel. In fact, on this trip, my first international trip undertaken completely independently (in Italy, I traveled independently but a travel agency booked my hotels), we mostly booked private rooms in hostels to save money.
