Up on the deck during this part of our cruise, Zinger (our resident kite-maker) was demonstrating his kites. Obviously this is a sales pitch, but the cool thing is there was constantly SOMETHING to do on board. This got all of us out of our cabins and encouraged socializing and mingling on the decks and in the ballrooms. The cruise, halfway through our trip, was where I really began to get to know and bond with my tourmates. Cliques would be formed on the boat that would continue not only through the rest of the trip but once we got back home as well, since we all lived in the same area of the USA.
