All Emeralds in Stage 1
Follow these steps to get all emeralds in stage one:
1) Use the level select and sound test cheat to get the level select screen.
2) Go to the special stage and play until you get the emerald.
3) Repeat the process until you have all emeralds (7).
4) Re-enter the level select cheat in the same game and go to any level and you'll still have the emeralds!

To take a screen shot, press F9 while playing. Images will be saved in the Sonic & Knuckles directory.
Sound Test and Level Select
To start, choose "Sonic & Knuckles" then choose any character and go to Angel Island. Play until you find a swinging vine. Jump and hang on, then press Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up. You'll hear a ring sound if it worked.
Next, click on the FILE menu and restart the game. When it restarts and you see the title screen, press DOWN twice until SOUND TEST appears.
Super Sonic
If you are having trouble turning into Super Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles all you have to do is collect 50 rings or one bonus and press the jump button twice quickly. This only works after you have the seven emeralds. Note: Super Sonic is very hyper and sometimes uncontrolable.
