This game, of all the games I've seen on the PSX, truly has the best graphics ever. I gave it a 9.9 only because I have to leave room for that 10.0 just in case he decides to show up. Another big plus was the fact that the game had voice actors making those FMV sequences only more stunning. The reason for the lower rating on the sound was because of the fact that the sound was somewhat fuzzy and distant and those wonderful voices were hard to understand. Perhaps it was just my speakers... but those are the same ones I used for all the other games tested. The story starts out slow but once it picks up, you wont be putting it down. Controls are confusing at first just like in Chrono Cross, but they are well explained and it’s not long before your fighting like the best of them. Also, once learned, the controls give a greater perfection to the game play as they allow you to utilize a multitude of game options and abilities. But if you didn't like the trigger on Squall's gunblade in FF8, STAY AWAY from this game, as it will drive you insane. Ratings
